Based on the childrens novel by Johanna Spyri // This is a musical version of the classic children's tale. Heidi lives with her Grandfather surrounded by the splendor of the Swiss Alps. Her Grandfather is troubled, he is loosing his eyesight and feels that he can no longer take care of Heidi. Heidi does not want to leave her grandfather. This film is a wonderful example of the love between a granddaughter and a grandfather, with lots of adventure ahead for Heidi as she visits New York City.
